On behalf of our President MJF Ln.K.Ravikumar and members of our L/C OF T.Nagar, I have pleasure in submitting our projects in detail.

ADMIN

Board Meeting:

The Board discussed about the Admn. and Activities of our Club. The main discussion on the fund raising for the eye camps and also for the monthly projects.

ACTIVITIES

Blood Donation Camp- I

Blood Donation Camp organised at the corporate and collected 43 units of blood.

Blood Donation Camp- II

Here we have collected 29 units of blood.

Benefit : 29 units blood.

Eye Screening Camp - 1

We have conducted an eye screening camp, cataract and spects distribution camp in a needy place at Mugalivakkam with a new approach of auto rickshaw propaganda.

Cost : Rs.16000/- Thousands.
No of Beneficiaries : Screened : 179, Cataract : 14, Spects : 47.
Venue : David School, Mugalivakkam, Chennai.

Ayurvedic Camp

On the account of GAV we have organized an Ayurvedic camp in the morning at our lions ayurvedic hospital.

Cost : Rs.5000/- Thousands.
No of Beneficiaries : 51 persons.
Venue : Lions Ayurvedic Hospital, KK.Nagar.

Club foot Camp
On the account of GAV we have distributed 10 braces for club foot children at our lions ayurvedic hospital. Our Zone chairperson Ln.Dr.S.J.Sharma have sponsored the braces for children.

Eye Screening Camp - 2

An other eye screening camp, cataract and spects distribution camp at Kolathur village in Vellore District with the initiative of our respected member Ln.D.Gopinathan and he has also sponsored the spectacle frames worth of Rs.3400/- Lions club of Kannamangalam have sponsored the food.

Distribution of Note Books

On the same day in Kulathur village, we have distributed 250 Note Books with other stationaries.
Sponsored by Ln.S.C.P.Ganesh Raja and organized by Ln.D.Gopinathan.

Dine with Divine

Our member Ln.T.N.Kumar DC for Image Building, have distributed sweets, snacks, cakes etc., to 50 street children on the Christmas eve at the home of “Ashranivas” run by sisters.

No of Beneficiaries : 50 Street Children.

Project at Institute of Child Health, Egmore.

We have installed an Air-Conditioner 1.5 Ton at the Post Operation Ward, Childrens Orthopaedic Section on 21st Dec. On our Club's behalf, MJF.Ln.K.Ravikumar had donated the same. Alongwith him, Past President - Ln S Subramaniam, had donated the Stabiliser for the Air conditioner and had done the Installation of the A/c free of cost. The maintenance of the A/c under AMC will be to the Cost of the President personally for two years. This will benefit many children who undergo surgery at ICH. Maintenance shall be done by our member Ln S Subramaniam.

Eye Screening Camp - 3

Our 10th Eye Screening, Cataract and Specs Distribution camp was conducted at Ekattur, Thiruvalluvar District. The supporters to this camp alongwith Lions Club of T Nagar are -
1. IARTS - A Team of Young men aged between 20 to 25 - predominantly doing social services in and around Thiruvallur with a Social Responsibility. IARTS - Stands for "I" "ALWAYS" "READY" "TO" "SERVE". These young men - creating awareness door to door visits about the eye camps and its importance.
2. Thiruvallur District Blindnes s Prevention Association - in Tamil - "THIRUVALLUR MAAVATTA PAARVAI IZHAPPU THADUPPU CHANGAM". Excellent support by the Association in Creating Awareness.

No of Beneficiaries : Screened : 238, Cataract : 20, Spects : 92.
Venue : Panchayat union middle school, Ekattur, Thiruvalluvar District.
